“The real measure of a person is how they treat the people who can’t do anything for them.” - Barry Allen
Talton Hardin
Industrial Designer
Hello! I'm Talton, a third-year industrial design student at CCAD.
I'm family driven and goal oriented, but more than anything, I see design as a chance to push boundaries and make the impossible possible. I believe great design isn’t about showing off. It’s about showing up, for the people and places we design for. The best creatives listen first, set ego aside, and build with purpose. At its core, design isn’t about us it’s about everyone and everything the design will impact. I focus on bringing ideas to life in ways that improve how we live, work, and connect.
I hope you enjoy my work!
So far.

Deeper look.
Furniture and woodworking have always been major passions of mine. I’m drawn to the idea of creating pieces that stand on their own, yet invite interaction and conversation. I’ve spent countless Saturdays gathered around my grandfather’s table playing board and card games with my family. I’ll always remember that table, every line, crack, and imperfection holds a story. That’s the kind of experience I want to create for others.
But my interests go beyond furniture.
As someone with Type 1 diabetes, I have a personal connection to products in the medical space. I’ve experienced firsthand how medical devices often overlook the needs of the real users and that’s something I’m passionate about changing.
Whether I’m designing for a person, a space, or an experience, I care deeply about impact. I want my work to make people feel supported, seen, and empowered to fully be themselves.
